Victor Boniface Dismisses Fitness Concerns After Joining Werder Bremen on Loan
Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has dismissed concerns about his fitness, saying he is fully fit and ready to play after joining Werder Bremen on loan from Bayer Leverkusen. Speaking during his official unveiling on Wednesday, Boniface addressed reports of failed medicals at AC Milan, stating that if he were not 100 per cent fit, he would be in the hospital, not on the pitch. The 24-year-old also revealed he kept his move under wraps by telling fans he was attending a wedding while heading for medicals. His loan deal runs until June 2026.
