Shettima Arrives Ilorin for Project Inaugurations, AbdulRazaq’s Turbaning
Vice President Kashim Shettima will inaugurate two major projects in Ilorin today as Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is turbaned as the Sardauna of the Ilorin Emirate.
The projects are the Kwara Garment Factory, which is expected to employ at least 4,000 people at full capacity, and the 11-storey Kwara Revenue Service building, funded through savings from consultancy fees.
The inaugurations will be followed by the turbaning ceremony at the Emir’s Palace in Ilorin and a reception at the Atlantic Event Centre as governors, ministers, heads of federal and state agencies, security chiefs, traditional rulers and other dignitaries are expected to attend the ceremony.
