Onyinyechi Basil has been crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2025, succeeding Chidinma Adetshina at a finale held in Lagos. Representing Anambra State, Basil emerged victorious from a pool of 22 contestants, impressing judges with her beauty, intelligence, and confidence. The event celebrated Nigeria’s cultural diversity through vibrant displays of traditional and modern fashion. As the new titleholder, Basil will represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe international pageant, promoting cultural exchange and women’s empowerment.
