Tinubu Congratulates AbdulRazaq on Sardauna of Ilorin Title
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on his conferment of the Sardauna of Ilorin title.
Tinubu, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said the title recognises AbdulRazaq’s leadership, public service and contributions to the development of Kwara State.
The title is expected to be conferred on the governor by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, at the renovated Emir’s Palace in Ilorin.
Vice President Kashim Shettima is expected to lead a delegation to the ceremony and also inaugurate the Kwara Garment Factory and the new Kwara State Internal Revenue Service Revenue House.
The garment factory is projected to create more than 4,000 jobs at full capacity and currently has over 500 workers in its initial phase. The Revenue House is designed to centralise the operations of the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service and improve tax administration.
