NOA rejects NANS’ overreach claim on learner ID

The National Orientation Agency has rejected allegations by the National Association of Nigerian Students that it is exceeding its mandate over the proposed National Learner Identification Number. NOA Director-General Lanre Issa-Onilu said the agency is neither the originator nor the implementing body, but is only responsible for communicating government policies and programmes and facilitating engagement with citizens.
