Tyla Teases ‘A*POP World Tour’ With Lagos, North America, Europe Stops
Grammy-winning South African singer and amapiano star Tyla has excited fans worldwide after unveiling plans for her upcoming concert series, the “A*POP World Tour.”
The singer shared a teaser of the tour schedule on social media, revealing planned performances across North America, Europe and Africa. The North American leg is expected to include cities such as San Francisco, Vancouver, Seattle, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Washington and Los Angeles.
The European leg of the tour will feature stops in major cities including Paris, Amsterdam, London, Glasgow, Manchester, Brussels, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Stockholm and Norway.
The tour itinerary also includes homecoming performances in South Africa’s Johannesburg and Cape Town, as well as a highly anticipated stop in Lagos, Nigeria.
Tyla, born Tyla Laura Seethal in Johannesburg, gained international recognition with her 2023 hit single “Water,” which became a global success and helped popularise African sounds worldwide. Her blend of pop, R&B and amapiano has earned her a growing international fan base.
The singer later released her debut studio album, “Tyla,” which further established her as one of Africa’s leading global music stars.
In 2024, Tyla made history after winning the inaugural Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance, becoming the first recipient of the category and further boosting the global profile of African music.
The upcoming “A*POP World Tour” is expected to mark another major milestone in Tyla’s career as she continues to expand her influence on the international music scene.
