Miliband Named UK Governor to World Bank

UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband has been appointed as the United Kingdom’s Governor to the World Bank, taking a leading role in the country’s engagement on international development and climate finance. The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said Miliband will represent the UK at key World Bank meetings, including the Annual Meetings scheduled for Bangkok in October.
