Police, Private Security Operators Strengthen Partnership in Kwara
The Association of Licensed Private Security Practitioners of Nigeria (ALPSPN), Kwara State Chapter, has reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the Nigeria Police Force to improve security across the state.
The assurance was given during a courtesy visit by the association’s leadership to the Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Adekimi Ojo. The association’s chairman, Dr. Samuel Yusuf Bola, commended the police and other security agencies for their efforts in maintaining peace and combating crime, while calling for greater recognition of licensed private security operators as key partners in community policing.
In response, the Commissioner of Police acknowledged the role of private security practitioners in supporting law enforcement and encouraged the association to increase public awareness of its activities. He also reaffirmed the command’s commitment to sustaining collaboration with the group to strengthen security through intelligence sharing and coordinated operations across Kwara State.
