*APC Debunks Reports of Nullified Primaries Nationwide*

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed as false reports alleging that its National Working Committee nullified the results of the recently concluded state primary elections.

In a statement on Friday, the party said National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda did not announce or authorise the cancellation of any primary results. It described the claims as “deliberately fabricated” by mischief-makers seeking to mislead members and the public.

The APC said the NWC cannot arbitrarily nullify primary results except where duly constituted election and appeal committees report irregularities. It assured aspirants and members that no crisis exists over results submitted from the states, and that all legitimate reports are being handled under the party’s constitution and electoral guidelines.

The party also warned against groups spreading false information to extort aspirants, and commended delegates for orderly participation, saying the turnout reflects the APC’s unity ahead of the 2027 elections.
