The Kwara State Government has announced that the March edition of its monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise will hold on Saturday, March 28, 2026, alongside the scheduled Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations.
According to a statement from the Office of the Kwara State Commissioner for Environment, Hajia Nafisat Musa Buge, the exercise will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., with both vehicular and pedestrian movement permitted to ensure students can access their examination centers across the state.
The government said the modified exercise aims to allow residents to clean their homes and business premises while supporting a safe and healthy environment. Waste evacuation trucks will also be available to collect and dispose of refuse at approved dump sites.
The Ministry urged the public to use the sanitation period effectively, emphasizing that maintaining clean surroundings is essential for public health and safety in the state.
