Mbappe Confident Neymar Will Feature in 2026 World Cup
Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has expressed confidence that Neymar will be ready to play in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, despite being left out of Brazil’s recent squad for friendlies against France and Croatia.
Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti cited fitness concerns for excluding Neymar, who admitted he was disappointed by the decision.
Speaking to GeGlobe, Mbappe said, “Neymar is Neymar. The World Cup is for world stars, and he will be there. I cannot imagine a World Cup without him, but I respect Ancelotti’s decision.”
Mbappe’s comments come amid growing speculation about Brazil’s lineup for the tournament, with fans eagerly awaiting Neymar’s return to full fitness ahead of the summer showpiece.
