NOA DG Onilu Lauded for Facilitating Three Boreholes in Afon Community
Residents of Afon community in Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State have commended the Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, for facilitating the construction of three boreholes in the area.
The community said the water projects have provided reliable access to clean and safe drinking water, easing the long-standing hardship caused by water scarcity.
According to a statement issued by Alhaji Isiaka Kayode on behalf of the community, the boreholes were installed in Isalegbari, Eleyele, and Quarters ‘B’ areas of Afon.
Kayode, also known as Salala, said the intervention has greatly improved daily living conditions, describing Issa-Onilu as a leader committed to improving the welfare of his people.
He expressed the community’s gratitude to the NOA boss for his efforts in addressing one of their most pressing needs and prayed for his continued success in advancing the goals of the current administration.
