Rooney Slams Manchester United, Says Club Has Lost Its Soul Under Amorim

Wayne Rooney, in a recent interview, slammed Manchester United’s current state, saying the club has lost its soul and no longer resembles the powerhouse it once was. The former captain criticised manager Ruben Amorim’s poor record and said he has no faith in the team’s direction, despite a heavy summer transfer spend. Rooney said he attends games expecting United to lose and accused the players of lacking fight, character, and desire. He also pointed to deeper problems within the club, including staff turnover and a decaying culture, warning that what’s happening at Old Trafford is not Manchester United.
