Neymar Slams Ballon d’Or Organizers Over Raphinha’s Fifth-Place Finish

Santos forward Neymar has criticized the organizers of the 2025 Ballon d’Or after Barcelona winger Raphinha finished fifth in the rankings. Neymar, 33, took to Instagram on Monday night, calling the result “a huge joke,” despite Raphinha’s standout season with 56 goal contributions in 57 games, helping Barcelona secure both the LaLiga and Copa del Rey titles. The award was won by Ousmane Dembele, with Lamine Yamal, Vitinha, and Mohamed Salah rounding out the top four.
