Nigeria, Qatar Explore Partnership on Education and Out-of-School Children

Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has reaffirmed her commitment to global peace during a meeting with the Qatari Ambassador to Nigeria, Ali bin Ghanem Al-Hajri, in Abuja. The closed-door session focused on strengthening collaboration between her Renewed Hope Initiative and the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, with emphasis on supporting the Almajiri system of education and reducing the number of out-of-school children. The meeting also came against the backdrop of recent attacks in Doha, with both sides underscoring the importance of international understanding and cooperation. The ambassador expressed appreciation for Nigeria’s solidarity and reiterated the strong ties between the two nations.
