NDC candidate demands audit of Kwara social investment spending

Kwara State governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Abdulmumin Ajia, has called for an independent audit of the state’s Social Investment Programme over allegations of political patronage and irregular payments. Ajia also demanded a detailed breakdown of the programme’s finances since inception, including fund releases, expenditure and beneficiary selection procedures.
