NSC Pledges Full Support for Team Nigeria Ahead of 2025 World Athletics Championships
The National Sports Commission (NSC) has expressed strong support for Team Nigeria as they prepare for the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, set for September 13 to 21. NSC Director-General Bukola Olopade urged the athletes to give their best and assured them of the commission’s and Nigerians’ backing. Led by 100m hurdles world record holder Tobi Amusan and long jump star Ese Brume, the 15-member team features both experienced and emerging athletes, with Olopade expected to provide frontline support throughout the competition.
