NFF Blames Dessers and Troost-Ekong as Super Eagles Draw with South Africa

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) criticized striker Cyriel Dessers and captain William Troost-Ekong following the Super Eagles’ 1-1 draw against South Africa in Bloemfontein. Dessers was singled out for a poor performance and substituted at halftime, while Troost-Ekong was faulted for an own goal that gave Bafana Bafana the lead. Despite Calvin Bassey’s equalizer, the NFF lamented Nigeria’s lackluster second-half display and wasted chances from substitutes.
