Germany, Poland, Portugal, Nordic Duo Bid to Host UEFA Women’s Euro 2029

UEFA has confirmed that four bids remain in the race to host the 2029 UEFA Women’s European Championship after Italy withdrew on Friday. The contenders are Germany, Poland, Portugal, and a joint bid by Denmark and Sweden, with the winning host set to be announced on December 3. Following the record-breaking success of the 2025 tournament in Switzerland, the 2029 host will face high expectations. UEFA requires one 50,000-seat stadium and at least three 30,000-seat venues, and allows joint bids from neighboring countries
