NOA Hails EFCC Over Cybercrime Crackdown

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has applauded the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for dismantling a cybercrime syndicate in the country. The Director General of the Agency, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, described the feat as a clear message that Nigeria will not tolerate criminality in any form, irrespective of the nationality of the perpetrators. He stressed that safeguarding the nation’s integrity and reputation remains paramount.
Issa-Onilu said the NOA will continue to promote ethical conduct and responsible citizenship through the National Value Charter and other sensitisation campaigns. He urged Nigerians and foreigners alike to respect the nation’s laws, while calling on stakeholders, traditional rulers, schools, civil society, and the media to reinforce values of integrity, patriotism, and civic responsibility across all levels.
