I’d Have Helped Tinubu Win Osun If He Wanted, Adeleke Could Do Nothing, Wike Says

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, says he would have supported President Bola Tinubu to secure victory for the All Progressives Congress in the recent Osun governorship election if the President had wanted to win at all costs. Wike, who remains a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, made the comment on Tuesday while inspecting flood-prone areas in Maitama, Abuja. He said the Federal Government did not use its influence to interfere with the election, adding that with the full force of the Federal Government behind the APC, Governor Ademola Adeleke could not have stopped the party from winning.
