Cameroon beat Morocco on penalties to set up WAFCON final against Malawi
Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses reached the WAFCON final after beating hosts Morocco 3–1 on penalties following a goalless draw after extra time. Goalkeeper Michaely Bihina was the heroine, making three saves in the shootout after also producing crucial stops during the match, while Morocco’s Fatima Tagnaout saw her extra-time penalty saved. Cameroon, who had earlier eliminated Nigeria in the quarter-finals, will now face Malawi in the final after another remarkable campaign.
