Popular Comedian Broda Shaggi Hospitalised After Shooting Incident

Samuel Perry, professionally known as Broda Shaggi, has been hospitalised following a reported shooting in the Sango-Ota area of Ogun State. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon under the Sango-Ota bridge while Broda Shaggi was filming a comedy skit.

Details of the shooting remain unclear, but a police source confirmed that the entertainer sustained a gunshot injury to his thigh. He was immediately rushed to Blooming Care Hospital in the Alakuko area of Lagos State, where medical personnel administered first aid.

The Lagos State Police Command confirmed the incident after the hospital reported receiving a gunshot victim. Detectives and a patrol team were mobilised to the hospital, discovering that the victim was the skit maker Broda Shaggi. However, the Ogun State Police Command noted that the case had not been formally reported in their jurisdiction, and investigations are ongoing.
