Kwara Concludes 2025 Free Medical and Surgical Outreach in Kaiama
The Kwara State Government has concluded the 2025 edition of its free medical and surgical outreach with the final phase held at the General Hospital, Kaiama, in Kaiama Local Government Area.
The exercise, organised by the State Ministry of Health, provided residents with free medical consultations, surgical procedures, eye care services, and essential drugs.
According to the ministry, the outreach — which has been conducted across various local government areas — aims to expand access to quality healthcare, particularly for underserved and rural communities.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for sustaining the initiative and ensuring that modern healthcare services reach even the most remote parts of the state.
The outreach forms part of the administration’s broader health intervention strategy, which includes rehabilitation of hospitals, expansion of primary healthcare centres, and regular medical missions to improve public health outcomes across Kwara State.
