Osimhen, Nwabali, Bameyi Nominated for 2025 CAF Awards
Super Eagles stars Victor Osimhen and Stanley Nwabali, alongside Flying Eagles captain Daniel Bameyi, have been nominated for the 2025 CAF Awards. Osimhen, who won a domestic double with Galatasaray, returns to the top ten of Africa’s best players after missing last year’s edition. Nwabali, nominated for Goalkeeper of the Year for the second straight year, will compete against Ronwen Williams and Andre Onana, while Bameyi is shortlisted for Young Player of the Year. The ceremony, which celebrates outstanding performances across African football, will be held later this year in Morocco.
