Tyler Perry Faces $260 Million Sexual Assault Lawsuit by Actor Derek Dixon

Filmmaker Tyler Perry is facing a $260 million sexual assault lawsuit from actor Derek Dixon, who starred on Perry’s BET drama The Oval. Dixon accused Perry of harassment and abuse, including inappropriate physical contact at Perry’s Atlanta home, and claimed a coercive work environment that threatened his career. Dixon also alleged Perry reneged on a promise to produce a pilot he wrote. Perry’s attorney dismissed the claims as an “elaborate scam,” while Perry denies all allegations.
