The National Identity Management Commission Confirms September 14 Deadline for NIN-SIM Linkage
The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has reiterated that the September 14 deadline for linking National Identification Numbers (NIN) with Subscribers Identity Modules (SIM) remains firm.
The Commission emphasized that its extensive network of over 10,000 registration outlets, both within Nigeria and abroad, is fully operational, handling enrolment, verification, and data modification efficiently.
Dr. Kayode Adegoke, head of Corporate Communications of the commission, has assured the public that all services related to the NIN-SIM linkage are operating smoothly. As he confirmed that enrollment centers are fully open, enabling Nigerians and legal residents to register and obtain their NIN in advance of the upcoming deadline.
