Kwara Begins Registration for 2025 Hajj Pilgrimage
The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the commencement of online registration for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage. The announcement was made on Wednesday by the Executive Secretary of the board, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir.
According to a statement issued by the board’s Press Secretary, Jumoke Jimoh, in Ilorin, the state capital, the registration process is open to all intending pilgrims wishing to perform the Hajj through the state.
Alhaji Abdulkadir emphasized that all intending pilgrims are required to complete the registration form online and subsequently raise a bank draft of N8.5 million. “The bank draft should be submitted at the board’s headquarters,” he stated.
Jimoh added that the Executive Secretary has appealed to all Muslim residents and non-residents of Kwara who wish to perform the 2025 Hajj through the board to comply with the outlined directives for a smooth registration process.
The board also encouraged prospective pilgrims to begin their preparations early and ensure they meet all necessary requirements ahead of the pilgrimage season.
