Bayern Munich forward Nicolas Jackson has ruled out a return to Chelsea at the end of his season-long loan spell in Germany.
The Senegalese striker joined the Bundesliga champions on transfer deadline day after a late move complicated by disagreements between Chelsea’s management and his representatives. Chelsea had attempted to recall him following an injury to Liam Delap, but Bayern completed the deal despite the controversy, as reports indicate that Jackson has prioritised his future with Bayern, viewing the club as his long-term destination, while his camp has also suggested that tensions between Chelsea’s hierarchy and manager Enzo Maresca contributed to the decision. The forward is expected to focus on delivering a strong campaign in the Bundesliga, with Bayern retaining the option of securing his services permanently should he meet performance targets.
