Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar Dies in Charter Plane Crash

Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and four others were killed today when their charter aircraft crashed in flames, Indian aviation authorities said. Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, described the deputy chief minister’s death as “shocking and saddening.”
