Uzodinma’s Assumpta Flyover to Boost Socio-Economic Growth in Imo – Aide

The Special Adviser to the Governor of Imo State on Networking, Onwuzuruike Chantel Adanna Chinyere, has said the newly completed Assumpta Flyover in Owerri will significantly enhance socio-economic development in the state.
Speaking in Owerri on Monday, Adanna described the project as a major facelift for the state capital, noting that the flyover has eliminated the illegal parks, street trading, touting, and perennial traffic congestion that previously characterised the area. She explained that the flyover, which has been constructed with modern engineering standards, features sidewalks and walkways, and now complements the nearby Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre at the Orlu Road–Bank Road junction.
Furthermore, She commended Governor Hope Uzodinma for completing the project despite criticisms, adding that the governor has also delivered major roads such as Owerri–Orlu, Owerri–Okigwe, and Owerri–Egbu–Emukuku–Mbaise–Obowu–Umuahia, which had been in deplorable condition for decades, as the administration’s urban renewal and rural road projects are transforming Imo into a “one-city state,” as the governor’s infrastructural strides would stand as a benchmark for successive governments. She assured that the Assumpta Flyover and other completed projects are set for commissioning by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
