UNILORIN Vice-Chancellor Assumes Role in ACLARS Governing Council
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, has been appointed a position on the Governing Council of the African Consortium for Law and Religion Studies (ACLARS), filling one of the four vacant slots.The election marked a significant milestone during the 11th Annual African Consortium for Law and Religion Studies Conference, hosted at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, from May 19th to 22nd, 2024.
In a separate development, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, conveyed warm felicitations to another illustrious legal mind, Mallam (Professor) Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN, upon his designation as the Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).
The announcement of Professor Ali’s appointment, alongside 114 others, was made last weekend by the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education, Didi Walson-Jack.
In a statement relayed through the University’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Kunle Akogun, it was affirmed that FUNAAB stands to reap immense benefits from Professor Ali’s wealth of experience and expertise.
