Tyson Fury Targets Anthony Joshua Ahead of Jake Paul Fight, Hints at 2026 Clash
Tyson Fury has criticized Anthony Joshua as he prepares for Joshua’s upcoming fight against YouTuber Jake Paul in Miami. The bout will mark Joshua’s return to the ring following a knockout loss to Daniel Dubois in September 2024.
Fury, who has previously defeated Tommy Fury, questioned Joshua’s decision to fight Paul and suggested that the long-anticipated heavyweight clash between himself and Joshua could take place in 2026. Discussions are reportedly ongoing, with Fury’s promoter indicating that an agreement could be reached for a fight later in the year.
Jake Paul, with a professional record of 12-1, will face Joshua, whose record stands at 24-4. Paul has fought twice since Joshua’s absence, winning both matches, including fights against Mike Tyson and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
The potential Fury-Joshua showdown has been awaited for years, and if finalized, would bring together two of Britain’s top heavyweight boxers in what is expected to be a major event on the global boxing calendar.
