Tinubu Hails Shettima at 56, Describes Him as Loyal and Service-Driven
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extolled Vice President Kashim Shettima on the occasion of his 56th birthday, describing him as a loyal deputy, dependable partner, and a model of service-driven leadership.
In a personal tribute, the president highlighted Shettima’s courage, tenacity, and commitment to Nigeria’s progress, noting that selecting him as vice president has been one of his most rewarding decisions.
Tinubu praised Shettima’s record of public service, particularly his tenure as Governor of Borno State and later as senator representing Borno Central. He said Shettima demonstrated that leadership is about service rather than privilege, even in the face of daunting challenges.
