Tinubu Celebrates Fashola’s 61st Birthday , Remarkable Career
President Bola Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to former Lagos State governor Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, on his 61st birthday.
In a statement by presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale, he highlighted some of Fashola’s achievements in private law practice and public service, while he also recalled their shared history when Fashola served as Chief of Staff during his governorship tenure in Lagos State.
Furthermore, Tinubu also acknowledged Fashola’s significant contributions as Minister of Power, Works, and Housing from 2015 to 2019, followed by his tenure as Minister of Works and Housing from 2019 to 2023.
The President joined Fashola’s family, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating the birthday of one of Nigeria’s most talented minds and expressing gratitude for Fashola’s dedicated service to the nation.
