Terry G Slams Billboard Over Afrobeats List Exclusion
Nigerian singer Gabriel Oche Amanyi, popularly known as Terry G, has accused American music magazine, Billboard, of robbing him after his hit tracks were excluded from its newly released Top 50 Best Afrobeats Songs of All Time list. The chart, which placed 2Face’s classic ‘African Queen’ at number one, also featured hits like Timaya’s ‘Dem Mama’, Weird MC’s ‘Ijoya’ and Olu Maintain’s ‘Yahooze’. Reacting to the omission of his songs , Terry G posted online that he was robbed, a comment that has since sparked mixed reactions from fans.
