Simi Condemns Negligence Following Tragic School Building Collapse
Nigerian singer, Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has expressed her reaction to the tragic collapse of a secondary school building in Busa Buji, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State which resulted in the loss of 22 students’ lives and left 132 others injured.
Taking to her social media platform, Simi criticized the negligence and disregard for life in Nigeria as contributing factors to the heartbreaking incident.
She expressed deep sorrow over the loss of young lives, highlighting the appalling priorities that often lead to such tragedies.
In her post, the singer lamented, “The loss of all those children due to negligence is devastating. The greatest issue in Nigeria is the lack of respect for life. The trivial reasons people die for are utterly distressing.”
