Sevilla Terminate Kelechi Iheanacho’s Contract
Spanish club Sevilla has confirmed the termination of Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho’s contract. Iheanacho, 28, joined the La Liga side on a free transfer last summer after leaving Leicester City. He made 15 appearances in the first half of the season, scoring three goals, before being loaned to Middlesbrough in January, where he registered one goal and two assists in 15 matches. The striker, who had been contracted to Sevilla until June 2026, was left out of the squad for the club’s opening three league fixtures this season as reports suggest Iheanacho could be set for a reunion with Brendan Rodgers at Scott
