President Tinubu Mourns Former Plateau Governor Col. Mohammed Mana

Abuja – President Bola Tinubu has expressed profound sorrow over the death of former Military Governor of Plateau State, Colonel Mohammed Mana (rtd), who passed away early Saturday in Abuja. In a condolence message issued by Presidential Spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, the President described Col. Mana as a gentleman, distinguished patriot, and officer-gentleman whose counsel and leadership will be deeply missed.
President Tinubu praised Mana’s commitment to the common good and his efforts to build a better society, extending condolences to his family, friends, associates, and the people and government of Adamawa State. Col. Mana, who also served as chairman of the APC’s Reconciliation Committee, represented Adamawa North in the Senate from 2007 to 2011. He was the Military Administrator of Plateau State between December 1993 and August 1996 and remained an influential chieftain of the All Progressives Congress until his passing.
