President Tinubu Condemns Deadly Attacks in Katsina State
President Bola Tinubu has condemned the recent spate of killings in Dutsin-Ma and Kankara Local Government Areas of Katsina State. The state Police Command have confirmed the tragic loss of about 20 lives, including four police officers and two operatives of the state-owned Community Watch Corps, in attacks believed to have been carried out by suspected bandits on June 9th at Gidan Tofa and Dan Nakwabo villages in Kankara Local Government Area.
In response to these heinous acts, President Tinubu, through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, labeled the attacks as both gruesome and sinister.
He assured the public of the government’s commitment to intensify efforts in securing citizens and eradicating terrorists and other perpetrators of violence across the nation by further directing the security agencies to pursue the assailants relentlessly and ensure that they face the full force of the law.
Furthermore, President Tinubu extended his sympathies to the families of the deceased, as well as to the government and people of Katsina State as He offered prayers for the souls of the departed.
