President Tinubu Charges Ogbuku to Deliver More Impactful Projects in Niger Delta
President Bola Tinubu has urged the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, to sustain delivery of impactful projects that empower youths, improve communities, and transform the region. Represented by Finance Minister Wale Edun at Ogbuku’s 50th birthday and book launch in Abuja, Tinubu said the Niger Delta remains the nation’s economic heartbeat, stressing the need for transparency, accountability, and grassroots empowerment.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio praised Ogbuku’s leadership, noting that under his watch, abandoned electricity projects in Ondo State were completed after 14 years of darkness. He described Ogbuku’s two years at the helm of the NDDC as a period of collaboration, focus, and results.
