PDP Sets September 2 for Inauguration of National Convention Committee Ahead of November Elective Convention
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has fixed Tuesday, September 2, 2025, for the inauguration of its National Convention Organising Committee at the party’s National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja. In a statement on Thursday, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, said the 110-member committee, chaired by Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri with Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke as Vice Chairman and Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah as Secretary, was approved by the party’s National Executive Committee. He added that the committee will oversee preparations for the PDP 2025 Elective National Convention scheduled for November 15–16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
