Ola Aina Ruled Out for Three Months with Hamstring Injury

Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina is set to be sidelined for up to three months after sustaining a hamstring injury while playing for Nigeria against South Africa on Tuesday. The 28-year-old was forced off just 12 minutes into the match and has now been excluded from Forest’s Premier League squad for the remainder of the year. Aina, who had featured in every minute of Forest’s league campaign so far, will also miss Nigeria’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers and a November friendly against Venezuela. He aims to recover in time for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in December.
