NSCDC Explains Deployment of 3000 Operatives for Eid-el-Kabir Security in Kwara
In preparation for the forthcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebration, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kwara State has elucidated the rationale behind the deployment of over 3000 operatives to ensure security during the festive period.

In a proactive move, Dr. Umar J.G Mohammed, the State Commandant of NSCDC, ordered the deployment of over 3000 personnel to various strategic locations across the state.
According to a statement by Ayoola Michael, the spokesperson of the state command, the deployment, spanning all 16 Local Government Areas, aims to fortify security measures during and after the festive period.
With a keen focus on high-risk areas such as black spots, flashpoints, and locations prone to criminal activities, the NSCDC is determined to maintain peace and order.
Commandant Umar emphasized the importance of continuous patrols and extensive deployment by Area Commanders, Tactical Commanders, and Divisional Officers. Their vigilance is crucial in ensuring a seamless and safe celebration for all residents.
Sending a clear message to potential troublemakers, Commandant Umar warned against any attempts to disrupt the peace. He assured that the NSCDC is fully equipped and prepared to enforce the law, holding offenders accountable for their actions.
In his message to Muslim faithful in the state, Commandant Umar extended warm congratulations on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
He called for collaboration with the NSCDC and other security agencies by promptly reporting any suspicious individuals or activities.
