NOA Teams Up with VDL to Boost Civic Engagement and Moral Education Across Nigeria

November 26, 2025

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has partnered with Values for Daily Living (VDL) to strengthen civic engagement and moral development in Nigeria. The collaboration was announced on Monday, November 24, 2025, when NOA Director General Mallam Lanre Issa Onilu hosted a VDL delegation at the agency’s headquarters.

VDL, a character-building organization, runs programs promoting ethical behavior, responsible citizenship, and youth engagement, including its annual Take It Back Values Advocacy Conference. Mallam Onilu praised VDL’s efforts, noting they complement NOA’s ongoing national values reorientation programs, including the Nigerian Identity Project and National Values Charter.

The meeting emphasized integrating values education into schools and higher institutions, with both parties committing to collaborate on curriculum development, youth-focused initiatives, and promoting ethical behavior across Nigerian society.
