NOA Partners with Al-Muhajirun to Promote Children’s Rights and Support Vulnerable Groups
The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has entered a formal partnership with the Al-Muhajirun Humanitarian Development Association to advocate for children’s rights and improve the welfare of vulnerable groups, including Almajiris, widows, and other at-risk populations across Nigeria.
The commitment was announced by the Director General of NOA, Malam Lanre Issa-Onilu, during an audience with the association at the Agency’s headquarters in Abuja. Issa-Onilu stated that the agency aims to amplify the voices of vulnerable populations and ensure their concerns inform government policies and inclusive social programs.
The partnership will focus on delivering social, economic, and psychological support to enhance the livelihoods and well-being of these groups. Furthermore, representatives of Al-Muhajirun highlighted that the foundation’s mandate, including child rights advocacy, peace promotion, and public awareness campaigns, aligns closely with NOA’s objectives, reinforcing efforts under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
