NOA, Nigerian Army Strengthen Partnership to Rebuild Citizens’ Trust
The National Orientation Agency (NOA) and the Nigerian Army have reaffirmed their commitment to collaborating in promoting national unity, patriotism, and rebuilding citizens’ trust.
NOA Director-General, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, announced while hosting the Chief of Civil–Military Affairs, Major General Musa Awal Etsu-Ndagi, and his delegation at the agency’s Abuja headquarters as he commended the general for swiftly initiating partnerships with NOA and other civil organizations, describing it as a strategic approach to bridging psychological disconnect among some Nigerians, caused by years of national shortcomings and divisive influences.
He emphasized the importance of professional communication and civil–military cooperation in restoring citizens’ sense of belonging, while Major General Etsu-Ndagi highlighted concerns over misinformation and divisive narratives, particularly on social media, pledging the Army’s full support for NOA’s initiatives and reaffirming their commitment to national stability and development.
