Nigerian Singer Spyro Opens Up About Heartbreak from Canadian Lover
Nigerian singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, has shared his emotional journey following a painful breakup with his Canadian lover.
The ‘Who’s Your Guy’ hitmaker revealed how the relationship came to an abrupt end over a seemingly innocuous incident.
Spyro recounted the heartbreak on his Instagram account, where he expressed his feelings candidly. He disclosed that he had invested emotionally in the relationship, even purchasing an engagement ring with plans to propose.
However, the relationship took an unexpected turn when his Canadian partner ended things after witnessing a friendly peck between Spyro and a female friend.
The singer admitted that the breakup left him deeply hurt and caused him to harbor negative feelings towards Canada. Nevertheless, Spyro shared that he has since found healing, crediting his pastor for guiding him through the process with a series of messages.
In his Instagram post, Spyro wrote, “Canada, I want to be honest today… Since then, I resented the idea of Canada and everything that surrounds it but now I am healed thanks to a series of messages from my pastor.”
