New Nollywood Sensational movie ‘Shina’ Debuts on Netflix
The Nollywood thriller “Shina,” directed by Muyiwa Adesokun and Lillian Carmen Ike-Okoro, just recently premiered on Netflix. Nigerian actor Timini Egbuson stars as Shina, with Linda Ejiofor-Suleiman playing a key role alongside him. While he also serves as the executive producer of the film.
The recently premiered movie “shina “ was produced by Feyifunmi Oginni, and showcases a variety of talented ensemble cast comprising Akin Lewis, Segun Arinze, among others.
Prior to its Netflix release, Timini Egbuson voiced his excitement for the project, underlining its personal importance to him and his dedication to delivering a captivating performance.

According to the website, FilmFreeWay the co-director, Ike-Okoro, “made her directorial debut as a guest director on the web series When Are We Getting Married in 2021. In early 2022, she directed a tactical ad for SGBV targeted at women facing issues of domestic violence.”
Meanwhile, Lillian Carmen Ike-Okoro who is One of the co-directors, began her directorial journey with a web series in 2021 before tackling an ad addressing issues of domestic violence in early 2022. While, Muyiwa Adesokun, the other director, is known for his writing, having published a collection of poems titled “The Taxi Driver and Other Poems” in 2021. Their collaboration on “Shina” reflects a blend of emerging talent and experienced storytelling in the Nigerian film industry.
