Fuel Marketers Seek Better Access to Dangote Refinery Products

Fuel marketers under the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) have asked the Dangote Refinery to improve product availability and pricing for wider distribution across the country. DAPPMAN spokesperson Ikem Ohia said marketers want a more transparent system that allows bulk supply through their existing depot networks in Lagos, Warri, Port Harcourt, and Calabar. He noted that limited access and high costs are affecting their ability to meet demand and end fuel queues. The Dangote Refinery, however, insists it sells based on production costs and regulated margins, adding that marketers must bear transportation expenses.
